Who we are
Interglobal EcoVista Limited ("IGEV", "we", "us") is a consultancy registered in Kenya, with its Africa regional office at 3rd Floor, Chiromo Court, Chiromo Road, Westlands, Nairobi. For any question about this notice or your data, contact admin@igecovista.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the inquiry form we collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number, the service you selected and your message. When you apply through the careers page we also collect your CV and any cover note. When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address.
- Information collected automatically. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referring site. Your IP address is anonymised. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
Why we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a proposal — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To assess job applications — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in recruitment.
- To send the newsletter — on the basis of your consent, withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it — on the basis of your consent to analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: our email provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics where you have consented. Some of these providers process data outside Kenya; where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under their own data protection commitments.
How long we keep it
Inquiry correspondence is retained for up to three years from last contact. Unsuccessful job applications are retained for twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner or agree to be kept on file. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to be informed of the use of your data, to access it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to object to or restrict processing, to request deletion, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@igecovista.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies unless you accept them. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the cookie banner back.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to inquiry and application data is limited to staff who need it.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
